The supporters of Al-Hoceima booed when El Jadida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasseh Boughanem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Yacoub Mousaber sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nabil Dirar threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Yacoub Mousaber this time. Imrane Benthami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabil Dirar having to interfere. Nabil Dirar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imrane Benthami, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 15 minutes into the match, El Jadida's goalkeeper Nabil Dirar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rochdi Daoudi. Al-Hoceima's Imrane Benthami got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rochdi Daoudi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rochdi Daoudi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nabil Dirar made a huge save. Hadji El Hirech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelbassir Oulhaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hadji El Hirech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nour Lamari, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 33 played minutes El Jadida got a freekick which was hit by Naji Sektioui. 35 minutes into the match, Al-Hoceima's Yacoub Mousaber broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Imrane Benthami received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imrane Benthami couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdelbassir Oulhaj was the one to do the kick off. Al-Hoceima's Hadji El Hirech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Oulhaj in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Al-Hoceima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarek El Kaddouri to maneuver through the defense. Rochdi Daoudi took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nabil Dirar. Nabil Dirar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Rochdi Daoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabil Dirar having to interfere. Imrane Benthami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imrane Benthami's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nabil Dirar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Al-Hoceima's Imrane Benthami got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rochdi Daoudi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nabil Dirar having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Aslal Kasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Tarek El Kaddouri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
