Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roy Higgins kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Chiswick booed when Hanworth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Short didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Hanworth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Clarke came free, but Kevin Bates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamal Clarke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Bates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Higgins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Higgins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kevin Bates read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Jamal Clarke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benji Dixon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Steven Hughes 22 minutes into the match. Steven Hughes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruce Strongman in the 28th minute. Jamal Clarke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Andrew Bateman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Roy Higgins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiswick's supporters rose to their feet, but Roy Higgins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Bates breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamie Ridsdale kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Roy Higgins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Higgins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamal Clarke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kevin Bates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Higgins in the 69th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Chiswick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Harrison to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chiswick's goalkeeper Steven Hughes , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benji Dixon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Hanworth FC's goalkeeper Kevin Bates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamal Clarke . In the 90th match minute, Hanworth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Shakespeare to maneuver through the defense. Hanworth FC's Jason Shakespeare got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
