Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ashley Doherty kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Scott Little put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Steven Campbell. Lucas Laurie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Campbell having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Wayne Roberts made a precise shot to the right of Forrest Evans. Douglas Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 19 minutes of play, Flamengo's Wayne Roberts made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Forrest Evans was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 26 in the game by Lucas Laurie from a close distance when the talented Steven Campbell managed to make a qualified save. Flamengo's players were relieved. Lucas Laurie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Campbell having to interfere. Lucas Lauries short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Steven Campbell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 35 played minutes Douglas Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Calvin Howard. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Wayne Roberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wayne Roberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Forrest Evans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ashley Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calvin Howard hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scott Little to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Wardle to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Douglas Football Club's goalkeeper Forrest Evans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ashley Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Football Club's Forrest Evans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Douglas Football Club from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Doherty in the 61st minute of play forced Douglas Football Club's goalkeeper Forrest Evans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Campbell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Scott Little in the 63rd minute of the match. Tony English hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Peter George was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Douglas Football Club's Scott Little sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steven Campbell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ashley Doherty struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Forrest Evans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. After 83 played minutes Douglas Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Paul Gerrard. Wayne Roberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rich Lockwood's late challenge caught a Douglas Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rich Lockwood helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Rich Lockwood got a free kick in the 87th minute. Scott Little sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Football Club's Lucas Laurie got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flamengo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
