Josh Howarth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bronagh Robertson , who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Josh Howarth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronagh Robertson in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Bronagh Robertson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Accrington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bronagh Robertson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Darren Warrender 's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josh Howarth was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Tipton United's Josh Howarth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bronagh Robertson in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Couzens in the 18th minute of play forced Accrington's goalkeeper Russ Gettins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darren Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Howarth having to interfere. When Accrington's Darren Warrender in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tipton United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Bronagh Robertson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Accrington fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Accrington's Darren Warrender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josh Howarth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tipton United's Josh Howarth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darren Warrender in the 40th minute of play. After 44th play minutes Darren Warrender shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Josh Howarth and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bronagh Robertson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Josh Howarth made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, Bronagh Robertson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tipton United's Josh Howarth. Josh Howarth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Russ Gettins came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Tipton United's Glen Hitchen. But to his dismay, Glen Hitchen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Carl Bradfield kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Glen Hitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tipton United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glen Hitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bronagh Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Josh Howarth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, Tipton United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derek Frost to maneuver through the defense. If Darren Warrender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bronagh Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Josh Howarth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Accrington's Darren Warrender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josh Howarth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Tipton United got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Allwright. Bronagh Robertson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Josh Howarth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Frank Couzens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Accrington's Russ Gettins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Couzens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Warrender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josh Howarth having to interfere. The Tipton United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Accrington's performance. The match ended with a win for Accrington.
