Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adam Brooks took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sam Hart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cody Morgan having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Lincoln was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Maunder to maneuver through the defense. Phil Chivers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Colley in the 16th minute of the match. Phil Colley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reg Spacey kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Geoff Cousens got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Phil Chivers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Uldale AFC's Eric Grainger seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eric Grainger the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uldale AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eric Grainger had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uldale AFC! A collision led to Uldale AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marty Llyod hit a great ball. Craig Maunder kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sam Hart made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lincoln's Leo Trimble got a free kick in the 51st minute. If Sam Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Brooks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Chandler during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uldale AFC! The goalkeeper, Phil Chivers , was totally fooled by Lincoln's Geoff Cousens , who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 75 minutes into the match, Uldale AFC's goalkeeper Phil Chivers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Colley . After having played for 85 minutes, Sam Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uldale AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Hart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lincoln's Patrick Tomelty got a free kick in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sam Hart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uldale AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Hart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cody Morgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Lincoln players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
