Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mattias Farrell made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes of play, Skegness FC's Mattias Farrell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bobby George was left in no man's land by his defense there! Skegness FC's Paul Holt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Skegness FC from getting a goal against them. Paul Holt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Seaward , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Adrian Seaward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Seaward in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Felix Adams was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coombe City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skegness FC the free kick. Paul Holt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antony Green in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Mattias Farrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coombe City's goalkeeper Bobby George, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrian Seaward received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paul Holt came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrian Seaward slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Liam Newman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skegness FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Liam Newman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bobby George breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bobby George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Newman in the 38th minute of play. Paul Holt made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Antony Green sent off a good shot on target. After 43 played minutes Adrian Seaward rounded Skegness FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Adrian Seaward struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Paul Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coombe City. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When Antony Green came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Coombe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antony Green couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Adrian Seaward notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Skegness FC's Paul Holt . Paul Holt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antony Green had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Skegness FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Seaward came free, but Paul Holt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liam Newman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th match minute, Skegness FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Ottaway to maneuver through the defense. If Antony Green had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Skegness FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. James Blunt hit a great ball. Antony Green 's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Holt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Monk during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Coombe City booed when Skegness FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Monk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antony Green in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paul Holt saved Skegness FC from getting behind. Antony Green received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Paul Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Tim Henry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coombe City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skegness FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Tim Henry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Farrell in the 90th minute of play forced Coombe City's goalkeeper Bobby George to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Coombe City's Bobby George got control of the ball when Liam Newman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Coombe City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Skegness FC for a fine match.
