Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) John Simpson made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes into the match, Avebury AFC's Kenneth Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fitz Paine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Forest Hill City's Paul Colton got a free kick in the 12th minute. Marty Bradbury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fitz Paine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Dalton in the 20th minute of the match. Kelvin Kindness could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Fitz Paine made a huge save. In the 28th minute Marty Bradbury shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austen Burnett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Avebury AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ty Pointon hit a great ball. Marty Bradbury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Austen Burnett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fitz Paine was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Kenneth Dalton capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kenneth Dalton really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Kenneth Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fitz Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
In the 51st minute, Kenneth Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Avebury AFC's Kelvin Kindness got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Marty Bradbury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forest Hill City's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Bradbury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austen Burnett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austen Burnett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marty Bradbury in the 61st minute. When Ty Pointon fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avebury AFC's protests and gave Ty Pointon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Ty Pointon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Abraham Shields fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Kelvin Kindness managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avebury AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelvin Kindness was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelvin Kindness sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Avebury AFC booed when Forest Hill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eamonn Wishart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avebury AFC's Kenneth Dalton got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kelvin Kindness in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fitz Paine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fitz Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, Forest Hill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Simpson to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fitz Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Kelvin Kindness cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fitz Paine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avebury AFC fully deserved thier win.
