Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vic Theobald kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Peter Longley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurice Stockley, 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Peacehaven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Maginnis to maneuver through the defense. Spike Sharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Langdon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Longley succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Neil Langdon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Peacehaven getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Michael Champion hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Peter Longley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurice Stockley, 3-0. Neil Langdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Spike Sharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Longley to strike the kick off in the second half. Walter Downing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Spike Sharpe made a huge save. Spike Sharpe made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Neil Langdon sent off a good shot on target. Peter Longley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurice Stockley having to make a save. Maurice Stockley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Longley went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Peacehaven's Peter Longley in 83 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Maurice Stockley guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Martin Collins hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Peacehaven players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
