Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sammy Westlake started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Steven Blueman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kyle Bullard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Theobald in the 6th minute of the match. Steven Blueman succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 11 played minutes, Redditch's Roy Reid shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kyle Bullard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Redditch reached it. Andrew Postolan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zak Fields , even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Medley kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Zak Fields received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Andrew Postolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Sammy Westlake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrew Postolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Westlake in the 28th minute of play forced Redditch's goalkeeper Andrew Postolan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Sammy Westlake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bob Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Smallfield City booed when Redditch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Sissons didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Bullard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob Theobald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bob Theobald to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bob Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Steven Blueman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Smallfield City's Kyle Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Theobald in the 55th minute of play. Zak Fields could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Andrew Postolan made a huge save. In the 57th minute Bob Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bob Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Smallfield City's goalkeeper Kyle Bullard , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bob Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Bullard having to interfere. Zak Fields fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Postolan having to interfere. Johnny Milton charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Milton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Redditch got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Milton. After having played for 69 minutes, Sammy Westlake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smallfield City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sammy Westlake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steven Blueman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Bullard having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Redditch got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Anderson. Steven Blueman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bob Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Kyle Bullard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Theobald struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Kyle Bullard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redditch. Smallfield City's Kyle Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Theobald in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Smallfield City's zone, Steven Blueman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Bullard came out of the goal and Steven Blueman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
