Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brakawn Horgan started the match with the kick off. Drumbilla's Rorke Scully proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Drumbilla from getting a goal against them. Brakawn Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Calluragh's Críostóir Kirby suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Darren McLiam's late challenge caught a Calluragh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darren McLiam helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Drumbilla getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Braedon Palmer hit a great ball. Rorke Scully made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Brakawn Horgan sent off a good shot on target. Baiste Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rorke Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard Gillmour struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rorke Scully didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calluragh. Brakawn Horgan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Rorke Scully when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Calluragh's Baiste Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Drumbilla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brakawn Horgan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th minute, Brakawn Horgan made a precise shot to the right of Rorke Scully. Drumbilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Brakawn Horgan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Calluragh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brakawn Horgan couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Leonard Gillmour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rorke Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Brakawn Horgan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerald Colwell was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Brakawn Horgan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baiste Scully in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rorke Scully prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farrell Scully during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Drumbilla got a freekick which was hit by Farrell Scully. In the 60th minute, Leonard Gillmour got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brakawn Horgan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rorke Scully made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brakawn Horgan in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Bellaghy Deery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rorke Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Baiste Scully left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calluragh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After having played for 71 minutes, Brakawn Horgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calluragh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brakawn Horgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bren Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Baiste Scully had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rorke Scully. Drumbilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baiste Scully was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Rooney Byrne struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rorke Scully didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calluragh. Herygh McIan got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Herygh McIan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Gerald Colwell fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drumbilla's protests and gave Gerald Colwell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Calluragh booed when Drumbilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerald Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbilla's zone, Brakawn Horgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rorke Scully came out of the goal and Brakawn Horgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Gerald Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Caoilte Tracy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumbilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Caoilte Tracy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boynton McVictor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute Rooney Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rorke Scully saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
