Riddoc Caffrey hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Beagan Brennan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute of the match Torrey Mullan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donleavy Lester showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Shannon Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donleavy Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Killmacomma's zone, Beagan Brennan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donleavy Lester came out of the goal and Beagan Brennan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bray Perth was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eoin McTommy. Turlough McGlynns short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Bray Perth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Turlough McGlynn scored 1-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bray Perth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Killmacomma:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Super Tata:s goal. Bray Perth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cashel Taylor, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cashel Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bray Perth having to interfere. Killmacomma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
