Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Beale McCollion took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Beale McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bowie McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rowan Glen Crowe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Bodibeve Caffrey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bogare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rosports the free kick. In the 8th minute, Bodibeve Caffrey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, FC Rosports's goal looked a bit too open when Fionntán Dillon came free, but Gavin Caffrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bowie McFrank got free with Rowan Glen Crowe in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Egan McMichel fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bogare's protests and gave Egan McMichel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Bogare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egan McMichel to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Bogare's goalkeeper Rowan Glen Crowe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bowie McFrank. In the 32nd minute, Brede Delaney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Rosports getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Shiel McAlphie hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Brede Delaney recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rowan Glen Crowe. Brede Delaney showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gavin Caffrey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fionntán Dillon went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brede Delaney was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, FC Rosports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brede Delaney to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bogare's zone, Bowie McFrank stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rowan Glen Crowe came out of the goal and Bowie McFrank tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, FC Rosports's goalkeeper Gavin Caffrey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fionntán Dillon. In the 72nd minute, Fionntán Dillon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Caffrey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A hard shot 76 in the game by Fionntán Dillon from a close distance when the talented Gavin Caffrey managed to make a qualified save. FC Rosports's players were relieved. Beale McCollion struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Gavin Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bogare. Fionntán Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Caffrey having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beale McCollion in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavin Caffrey prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
