Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Branagain McBrandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binne McLaughlin having to interfere. The supporters of Kilcorney booed when Knockstopher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felim Dillon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Knockstopher's Binne McLaughlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Knockstopher from getting a goal against them. Knockstopher's Binne McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branagain McBrandon in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Beartlai McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Branagain McBrandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knockstopher's Binne McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branagain McBrandon in the 25th minute of play. Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knockstopher's goalkeeper Binne McLaughlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kilcorney's zone, Séamus McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brite Gough came out of the goal and Séamus McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the game, Beartlai McSteve cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Brite Gough was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Fiachra Taylor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilcorney's supporters rose to their feet, but Fiachra Taylor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Binne McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kilcorney's Seosamh Cronin got a free kick in the 44th minute. Séamus McOliver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Brite Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Séamus McOliver made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seosamh Cronin during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Knockstopher booed when Kilcorney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seosamh Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Séamus McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Kilcorney's goalkeeper Brite Gough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Séamus McOliver. Binne McLaughlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Branagain McBrandon in the 74th minute of play. If Hayes Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brite Gough. That made the score 0-4 after 82 minutes of play. Abbot Matthews hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Beartlai McSteve struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Brite Gough didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockstopher. When Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilcorney's goalie prevented a goal. Branagain McBrandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Kilcorney fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Knockstopher were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
