Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toran Molloy kicked off to start the match. Beagan Walkers short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Donoghue Caffrey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Rockland's Bealtaine MaCollin got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 13 played minutes Cluid got a freekick which was hit by Garrett Glen Crowe. Beagan Walker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Donoghue Caffrey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Derrick McGlenn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lochlainn Bayes went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Rockland booed when Cluid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodore Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Beara Hughes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rockland's Derrick McGlenn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beagan Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Beagan Walker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donoghue Caffrey was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When Rockland's Beagan Walker in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cluid's goalie prevented a goal. Donoghue Caffrey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockland. The supporters of Rockland booed when Cluid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toran Molloy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Rockland fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Rockland's Beagan Walker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Gill Ferguson's late challenge caught a Cluid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gill Ferguson helped the player get up and apologised. Gill Ferguson kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Garrett Glen Crowe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Derrick McGlenn. That made the score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. Beara Hughes scored 1-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Derrick McGlenn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carrig Molloy helped the player get up and apologised. 65 minutes into the match, Toran Molloy notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Rockland's Derrick McGlenn. Derrick McGlenn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 minutes, Andrew Todd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockland and the Cluid players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Andrew Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donoghue Caffrey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beagan Walker in the 72nd minute of play. When Beagan Walker came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Rockland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beagan Walker couldn't finish the play. Beagan Walker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donoghue Caffrey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beagan Walker in the 94th minute of play forced Cluid's goalkeeper Donoghue Caffrey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Cluid left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rockland.
