The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bearchan Martyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Cassin in the 3rd minute of play. Eararna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clondoolusk the free kick. Beagan Gough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassidy McGlynn in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebhinn Willson in the 18th minute of play forced Eararna's goalkeeper Bearchan Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bebhinn Willson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bearchan Martyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bebhinn Willson ran back to his position shaking his head. Eararna's Bearchan Martyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Eararna from getting a goal against them. Gilian McJames charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilian McJames the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Eararna getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gilian McJames hit a great ball. Eararna's Bearchan Martyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Eararna from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Bebhinn Willson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bearchan Martyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bearchan Martyn made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Artuir Gillmour sent off a good shot on target. Rorry Johnson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bebhinn Willson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bearchan Martyn. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play.

In the 52nd minute, Troy Cassin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bearchan Martyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 69th minute, Royan McPhilip fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 71st minute, Tipraite Tierney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brogan McPhil hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Tipraite Tierney got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Beagan Gough stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Royan McPhilip's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute.
