Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barcvni John took the kick off in the first half of the match. Braon Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Barcvni John struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Timothy Taylor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Connonagh. Timothy Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barcvni John, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Barcvni John hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th match minute, Connonagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barcvni John to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Ventry's Benjamin McPaul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basil McPeter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bearach Sheridan took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basil McPeter. Basil McPeter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bannon Martyn kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Gaynor McNamee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bricin Delaney hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Benjamin McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Connonagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bearach Sheridan came free, but Basil McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benjamin McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Connonagh's Gaynor McNamee got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, Connonagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bearach Sheridan came free, but Basil McPeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin McPaul to make the kick off. Basil McPeter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bearach Sheridan in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Herich McPaul notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Connonagh's Basil McPeter. Basil McPeter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Bearach Sheridan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Basil McPeter. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. Benjamin McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Bearach Sheridan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Connonagh's Basil McPeter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basil McPeter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bearach Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Benjamin McPaul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basil McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bearach Sheridan in the 77th minute of play. Basil McPeter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bec Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Connonagh's goalkeeper Basil McPeter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin McPaul. Basil McPeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bearach Sheridan in the 89th minute of the match. If Bearach Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute of the match, Benjamin McPaul got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basil McPeter was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Ventry's goal looked a bit too open when Gaynor McNamee came free, but Timothy Taylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timothy Taylor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaynor McNamee in the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over Ventry could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Connonagh throughout the match.
