After 8 minutes of play, Baltyboys AFC's Terence McFrancise made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bearchan Dempsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Branagain Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fionn Willson in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Summerton Utd's zone, Sherlock Ferguson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bearchan Dempsey came out of the goal and Sherlock Ferguson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terence McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Summerton Utd defense, Terence McFrancise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bearchan Dempsey. The Summerton Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bearchan Dempsey should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egan Caffey during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Baltyboys AFC got a freekick which was hit by Keely Doyle. Baltyboys AFC's Branagain Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torran Duggan in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Terence McFrancise notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Summerton Utd's Bearchan Dempsey. Bearchan Dempsey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bearchan Dempsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sherlock Ferguson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Summerton Utd's Bedilia Mulvihill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branagain Doherty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Terence McFrancise made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Summerton Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean McLian to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Terence McFrancise sped through Summerton Utd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bearchan Dempsey. After a rather tough play, Summerton Utd's Rowley Dalton got a free kick in the 59th minute. Bearchan Dempsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terence McFrancise in the 63rd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Baltyboys AFC's Sherlock Ferguson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bearchan Dempsey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lewy Dempsey's late challenge caught a Summerton Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lewy Dempsey helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Baltyboys AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Summerton Utd a penalty, 72 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Torran Duggan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Baltyboys AFC's Branagain Doherty. 2-4. In the 75th minute, Baltyboys AFC's Terence McFrancise dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Branagain Doherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fionn Willson in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Baltyboys AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fionn Willson came free, but Branagain Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Baltyboys AFC defense, Bedilia Mulvihill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branagain Doherty. The Baltyboys AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branagain Doherty should have stopped the shot. Branagain Doherty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fionn Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Fionn Willson made a precise shot to the right of Branagain Doherty. Baltyboys AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. The Summerton Utd supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Baltyboys AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Baltyboys AFC.
