Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tullaha's Bevin Scully started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Justin Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute Bevin Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyne McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Granard got a freekick which was hit by Braedon Gillmour. When Granard's Jarlath McCready, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Granard. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarlath McCready got free with Bradley Dimson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Roy Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyne McJon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bevin Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes of play, Tullaha's Bevin Scully made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyne McJon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boyne McJon came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Tullaha's Roy Hunt. But to his dismay, Roy Hunt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 33 minutes of play, Tullaha's Bevin Scully made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyne McJon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bradley Dimson made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Aubrey Ryan sent off a good shot on target. Roy Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Boyne McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bevin Scully fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyne McJon having to interfere. Boyne McJon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bevin Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bradley Dimson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarlath McCready's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute Jarlath McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sherlock Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th match minute, Granard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aubrey Ryan to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match, Roy Hunt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boyne McJon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jarlath McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Bradley Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gordan McMichel fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tullaha's protests and gave Gordan McMichel a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, Roy Hunt notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Granard's Boyne McJon. Boyne McJon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute, Roy Hunt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justin Mulvihill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Jarlath McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Dimson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Granard's Jarlath McCready sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradley Dimson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tullaha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
