The Kilmacar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Séamus McDecland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donan Lester in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kilmacar's zone, Roland Gollogley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tierney Kirby came out of the goal and Roland Gollogley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Kilmacar's Thurl Costello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After 20 minutes, Thomas Glen Crowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cornageeha and the Kilmacar players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Séamus McDecland managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Kilmacar's Donan Lester fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 22 minutes into the match, Cornageeha's goal looked a bit too open when Thurl Costello came free, but Séamus McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eoin McLaughlin's late challenge caught a Kilmacar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eoin McLaughlin helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Cornageeha's zone, Donan Lester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Séamus McDecland came out of the goal and Donan Lester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Cornageeha's Séamus McDecland got control of the ball when Torey Frankson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 minutes, Donan Lester made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cornageeha's Séamus McDecland tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Duff Bayes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Séamus McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duff Bayes in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thurl Costello in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Séamus McDecland saved Cornageeha from getting behind. In the 37th match minute, Cornageeha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brak Doherty to maneuver through the defense. Séamus McDecland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thurl Costello in the 39th minute of play. Séamus McDecland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donan Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Torey Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Kilmacar's Thurl Costello ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Séamus McDecland. Séamus McDecland yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
53 minutes into the match, Cornageeha's goal looked a bit too open when Thurl Costello came free, but Séamus McDecland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cornageeha's Eoin McLaughlin got a free kick in the 54th minute. Séamus McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torey Frankson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Thurl Costello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilmacar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Séamus McDecland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thurl Costello went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Donan Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Séamus McDecland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torey Frankson in the 66th minute of play forced Cornageeha's goalkeeper Séamus McDecland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beary Myler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cornageeha defense, Thurl Costello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Séamus McDecland. The Cornageeha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Séamus McDecland should have stopped the shot. In the 76th minute, Thurl Costello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kilmacar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Thurl Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Séamus McDecland having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cornageeha's Artt Hutton got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Kilmacar getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Rollin Dimson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thom McDonald got free with Tierney Kirby in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thurl Costello scored 10-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Séamus McDecland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torey Frankson scored 11-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Séamus McDecland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Séamus McDecland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thurl Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Kilmacar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
