Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Boru Ramsey took the kick off in the first half of the match. Timmons McJames took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shiel Taylor. Ballycolla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Blake Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shiel Taylor came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriffhill's Boru Ramsey. But to his dismay, Boru Ramsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Boru Ramsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Boru Ramsey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shiel Taylor was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Sheriffhill's Boru Ramsey got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Ferguson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ballycolla's Tyrone Gollogley got a free kick in the 21st minute. Tyrone Gollogley charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tyrone Gollogley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tyrone Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Pierson McTom hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Branigan Deery made a precise shot to the right of Becc McCollion. Sheriffhill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Sheriffhill getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bernard Tracy hit a great ball. Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sheriffhill from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierson McTom got free with Becc McCollion in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Sheriffhill's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Gollogley came free, but Becc McCollion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ballycolla booed when Sheriffhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boru Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion got control of the ball when Branigan Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tyrone Gollogley to strike the kick off in the second half. Boru Ramsey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Shiel Taylor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Shiel Taylor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boru Ramsey's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Branigan Deery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballycolla and the Sheriffhill players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sheriffhill booed when Ballycolla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branigan Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes, Sheriffhill's Timmons McJames shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shiel Taylor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sheriffhill reached it. Sheriffhill's Becc McCollion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donahue McAaron in the 65th minute of play. Boru Ramsey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Shiel Taylor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernard Tracy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Branigan Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boru Ramseys short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Shiel Taylor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 80 minutes into the game, Bivadas Frankson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballycolla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheriffhill the free kick. Bivadas Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Braydon McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shiel Taylor having to interfere. Shiel Taylor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Boru Ramsey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. Shiel Taylor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boru Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Sheriffhill's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
