Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brazil Dunne took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Brazil Dunne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrybank Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brazil Dunne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazil Dunne in the 6th minute of play forced Feagarrid Utd's goalkeeper Banbhan McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harrington Kirby struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Banbhan McTom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferrybank Utd. Giles McSteve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilbert McGlenn made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Giles McSteve sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Ferrybank Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Fintan Lavine came free, but Gilbert McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Sameer Glen Crowe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ferrybank Utd's Gilbert McGlenn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 minutes, Roland Gough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrybank Utd and the Feagarrid Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ferrybank Utd getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Roland Gough hit a great ball. Sameer Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gilbert McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brazil Dunne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harrington Kirby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Banbhan McTom having to make a save. Banbhan McTom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brazil Dunne in the 32nd minute of play. Feagarrid Utd's Banbhan McTom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrington Kirby in the 39th minute of play. Fionntán McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Lochlainn Caffrey hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes, Feagarrid Utd's Barra Dunne shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilbert McGlenn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Feagarrid Utd reached it. Banbhan McTom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harrington Kirby in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sameer Glen Crowe to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Feagarrid Utd's zone, Harrington Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Banbhan McTom came out of the goal and Harrington Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ferrybank Utd's Brazil Dunne in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Feagarrid Utd's goalie prevented a goal. If Sameer Glen Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sameer Glen Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beehan McTommy kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The Feagarrid Utd fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Feagarrid Utd's Giles McSteve looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ferrybank Utd booed when Feagarrid Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fionntán McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giles McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert McGlenn having to interfere. If Brazil Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazil Dunne in the 90th minute of play forced Feagarrid Utd's goalkeeper Banbhan McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feagarrid Utd's Banbhan McTom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Feagarrid Utd from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazil Dunne in the 96th minute of play forced Feagarrid Utd's goalkeeper Banbhan McTom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ferrybank Utd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Feagarrid Utd.
