Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dillon Brennan made the kick off and thus started the match. When Portlaw AFC's Blamhac Quinnless in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilfenora's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dillon Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilfenora's supporters rose to their feet, but Dillon Brennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendon McBjarton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harold McIan took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colm Beckett. Colm Beckett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 19 minutes of play, Portlaw AFC's Harold McIan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Colm Beckett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cormac Mullan's late challenge caught a Kilfenora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cormac Mullan helped the player get up and apologised. 28 minutes into the match, Séamus Byrne notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Portlaw AFC's Brendon McBjarton. Brendon McBjarton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kilfenora's Colm Beckett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blamhac Quinnless in the 44th minute of play. Brion McPhil hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Bel Lester's late challenge caught a Kilfenora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bel Lester helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Portlaw AFC got a freekick which was hit by Brion McPhil. After 55 played minutes, Kilfenora's Paudraig Kirby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brendon McBjarton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kilfenora reached it. 56 minutes into the match, Portlaw AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Séamus Byrne came free, but Brendon McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Kilfenora's goal looked a bit too open when Blamhac Quinnless came free, but Colm Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Blamhac Quinnless got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Séamus Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Brendon McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Kilfenora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rian McLaughlin to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Harold McIan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Colm Beckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Kilfenora booed when Portlaw AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brion McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendon McBjarton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Séamus Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Séamus Byrne struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Brendon McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilfenora. Dillon Brennan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kilfenora's Donelle Caffrey got a free kick in the 84th minute. It was beautiful to see Portlaw AFC's Gerard Dillon in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Portlaw AFC's Brendon McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dillon Brennan in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blamhac Quinnless in the 97th minute of play forced Kilfenora's goalkeeper Colm Beckett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
