Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bar Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Drishane getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ryleigh Dempsey hit a great ball. Binnech Martyn was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Nechifor Coporan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nechifor Coporan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Drishane's Bradaigh McBrandon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Perth in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Nechifor Coporan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Drishane's Bar Gough got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Drishane getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bar Gough hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes lackagh utd got a freekick which was hit by Reamann Myler. When Bola Jameson fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drishane's protests and gave Bola Jameson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave lackagh utd a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bairee McPhilip, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Drishane's Bradaigh McBrandon. 1-1. In the 42nd minute of the game, Braden Doherty landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caolán McGlynn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Drishane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkley Keegan to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drishane's goalkeeper Bradaigh McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, lackagh utd's Caolán McGlynn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradaigh McBrandon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bernard Perth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bar Gough took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Binnech Martyn. Binnech Martyn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 81 minutes of play, Drishane's Bar Gough made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Binnech Martyn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agostinho Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Drishane's Agostinho Mineiro got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Bar Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drishane walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
