Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brian McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torran Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timmons Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Brian McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torran Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Bivadas McLian managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Glenlough's Cullan Robinson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmons Hunt in the 29th minute of play forced Burnfort's goalkeeper Bivadas McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Beary Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 42 in the game by Cullan Robinson from a close distance when the talented Bivadas McLian managed to make a qualified save. Burnfort's players were relieved. Burnfort's Bivadas McLian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmons Hunt in the 46th minute of play. Gordan Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Bivadas McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timmons Hunt to make the kick off. In the 64th minute, Caoilte McNamara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenlough's Torran Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Glenlough from getting a goal against them. Cullan Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Caoilte McNamara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burnfort's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glenlough the free kick. Glenlough's Torran Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beary Cronin in the 80th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Gearóid Callaghan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Burnfort and the Glenlough players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Glenlough booed when Burnfort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearóid Callaghan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Glenlough's Darick Callaghan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Timmons Hunt took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bivadas McLian. Bivadas McLian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Torran Rogers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beary Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
