Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blar McWilliam took the kick off in the first half of the match. Berkeley Palmer had several of the Ballyquin's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Breas McSteve as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 13 minutes, Felim McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killyon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felim McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Berkeley Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blar McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, Felim McLian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killyon and the Ballyquin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felim McLian kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Ciarán Scully hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Berkeley Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breas McSteve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Killyon's Felim McLian got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Felim McLian off the ground. When Berkeley Palmer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Killyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkeley Palmer couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baird Gough stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patton Prunty's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Lewis Kelly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lewis Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blar McWilliam in the 52nd minute of play. Breas McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baird Gough in the 53rd minute of the match. Lewis Kelly made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Patton Prunty sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Killyon getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Berkeley Palmer hit a great ball. Baird Gough struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Breas McSteve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killyon. Baoithin Keegan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breas McSteve having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Bairee Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Breas McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baird Gough in the 80th minute of the match. When Bairee Kirby fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballyquin's protests and gave Bairee Kirby a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Ballyquin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairee Kirby to maneuver through the defense. Baird Gough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breas McSteve having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Blar McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballyquin's supporters rose to their feet, but Blar McWilliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lewis Kelly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breas McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baird Gough in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Killyon fully deserved thier win.
