Samuel McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Reagan Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul McWill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boru Grant's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Larass Utd's goalkeeper Reagan Hunt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel McPaul. In the 24th minute, Boru Grant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davie Quinnless charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davie Quinnless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Davie Quinnless hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With his leg Reagan Hunt managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Ardy's Samuel McPaul fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 33 minutes, Iarla Cooney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Larass Utd and the Ardy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iarla Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, Larass Utd's Boru Grant made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel McPaul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danann John to strike the kick off in the second half. If Danann John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heron McAaron hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ardy booed when Larass Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iarla Cooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barley Savic struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Reagan Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ardy. After some careless play in the Ardy defense, Boru Grant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul McWill. The Ardy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul McWill should have stopped the shot. Ardy's Paul McWill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Ardy from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Ardy's Reidy Caffrey got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Barley Savic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boru Grant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Paul McWill made a huge save. Danann John scored 0-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul McWill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel McPaul in the 79th minute of play forced Larass Utd's goalkeeper Reagan Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barley Savic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reagan Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel McPaul in the 86th minute of the match. Danann John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Danann John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
