In the 36th minute Daniel McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaden Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bresal Keegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Caoilte McAlphie made a huge save. If Bresal Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Kilteen AFC's Lewis McJon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaden Ryan was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bresal Keegan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aaden Ryan made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kieran Ryan sent off a good shot on target.
