Raymun McOliver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Ryan's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Shiel Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Brian Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymun McOliver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Ryan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torna Kirby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Reens AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beartlai Caffey who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Portsalon's Beartlai Caffey to fire away a dangerous shot which Raymun McOliver despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Reens AFC's Torna Kirby in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portsalon's goalie prevented a goal. Brian Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The long shot by Bragan John in the 75th minute really tested Raymun McOliver's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 82nd match minute, Portsalon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beartlai Caffey to maneuver through the defense. Seoirse Mulvihill struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Raymun McOliver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portsalon. 89 minutes into the match, Reens AFC's goalkeeper Raymun McOliver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Ryan. Brian Ryan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Raymun McOliver made a huge save. A collision led to Portsalon getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Beartlai Caffey hit a great ball. Portsalon played a much better game than Reens AFC and deserved their victory. The Reens AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
