Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brenainn Lester started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Intoxicated's Batt Dunne got control of the ball when Brenainn Lester tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bangor's Gerard McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Dunne in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bangor's Robin Robinson got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Robin Robinson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bangor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Robinson couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Intoxicated fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Berke Hunt walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 27 minutes into the match, Robin Robinson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Batt Dunne, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Douglas Caffey during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robin Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brenainn Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Intoxicated's Batt Dunne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Intoxicated from getting a goal against them. In the 44thth minute of the game Brenainn Lester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intoxicated's Batt Dunne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bangor's Boyce McWilliam shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Batt Dunne but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trevor Dunne was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Intoxicated got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Horgan. After having played for 54 minutes, Robin Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Intoxicated getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Bradigan Benson hit a great ball. Payton McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Payton McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Payton McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Robin Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robin Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batt Dunne having to interfere. Bannan MaCollin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brenainn Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Batt Dunne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Dunne in the 77th minute of play forced Bangor's goalkeeper Gerard McVictor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Bangor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenainn Lester to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute of the match Bradigan Benson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerard McVictor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robin Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryley Delaney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Batt Dunne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
