Samueil Murphy hit a great ball. Brannon Ferguson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batt Dunne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blanaid Palmer in the 43rd minute of the match. Breed Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batt Dunne having to interfere. Batt Dunne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blanaid Palmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Intoxicated players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drumfergus were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Trevor Dunne to make the kick off. Intoxicated's Batt Dunne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Intoxicated from getting a goal against them. Payton McIan charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Payton McIan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Intoxicated's Payton McIan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Intoxicated's Batt Dunne got control of the ball when Blanaid Palmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Batt Dunne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blanaid Palmer went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Breed Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee gave Drumfergus a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patraic McNamee, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Intoxicated's Batt Dunne. 0-4. Blanaid Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bannan McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drumfergus's Brannon Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Dunne in the 78th minute of play. Intoxicated's Trevor Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Breed Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Drumfergus's Blanaid Palmer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Batt Dunne. Batt Dunne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Blanaid Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
