Pawd Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Thomas Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pawd Frankson might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Ferguson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pawd Frankson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rownun Hunt in the 10th minute of play forced Rawros's goalkeeper Thomas Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Rownun Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Torrian Grant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caimin McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rawros's Thomas Ferguson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawd Frankson in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Pawd Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caimin McMichel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Torrian Grant showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Bressail Molloy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caimin McMichel having to interfere. When Rawros's Torrian Grant in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celbridge FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute, Torrian Grant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pawd Frankson to make the kick off. Torrian Grant struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Caimin McMichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawros. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Torrian Grant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawros's supporters rose to their feet, but Torrian Grant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caimin McMichel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Torrian Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Rawros's goal looked a bit too open when Pawd Frankson came free, but Thomas Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Torrian Grant came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Rawros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torrian Grant couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the match, Rawros's Torrian Grant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caimin McMichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolan Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Rawros's goalkeeper Thomas Ferguson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rownun Hunt. Celbridge FC's Caimin McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrian Grant in the 90th minute of play. Ravan Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Celbridge FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
