Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brigid Perth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Torran Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daron Colwell in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Blathmacc Scully's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torran Mulvihill was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. A collision led to Kilmeedy AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Blamhac Scully hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Kilmeedy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braonain Tierney. Anascaul's Ryan Keegan shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roordan Branson but with some difficulty. Brigid Perth took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torran Mulvihill. Torran Mulvihill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the game, Kilmeedy AFC's Daron Colwell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torran Mulvihill made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Brigid Perth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torran Mulvihill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Anascaul's goal looked a bit too open when Brigid Perth came free, but Torran Mulvihill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flannery Sheridan in the 32nd minute of play forced Anascaul's goalkeeper Torran Mulvihill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Braonain Tierney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Anascaul defense, Flannery Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torran Mulvihill. The Anascaul fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torran Mulvihill should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Blamhac Scully made a precise shot to the right of Torran Mulvihill. Anascaul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Blathmacc Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Kilmeedy AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ryan Keegan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Daron Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torran Mulvihill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anascaul's Torran Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brigid Perth in the 53rd minute of play. Blamhac Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Torran Mulvihill made a huge save. Brefni Tierney hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Torran Mulvihill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Colwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Anascaul's goal looked a bit too open when Brigid Perth came free, but Torran Mulvihill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braonain Tierney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Kilmeedy AFC's Blathmacc Scully slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torran Mulvihill. That made the score 0-6 after 76 minutes of play. After 79 played minutes Kilmeedy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braonain Tierney. Daron Colwell's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Torran Mulvihill firmly grabbed it by the left post. Torran Mulvihill made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Flannery Sheridan sent off a good shot on target. Anascaul's Torran Mulvihill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Anascaul from getting a goal against them. Daron Colwell took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torran Mulvihill. Torran Mulvihill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Torran Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flannery Sheridan in the 92nd minute of play. Torran Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blamhac Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Torran Mulvihill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flannery Sheridan in the 95th minute of play. Brigid Perth struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Torran Mulvihill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilmeedy AFC. The Anascaul fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kilmeedy AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
