Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Torrey McSteven took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Herich McTommy could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Fionntán McBjarton however easily saved by the left post. Tullykinroe's Fionntán McBjarton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Tullykinroe from getting a goal against them. Aengus Keegan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kevis Caffey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevis Caffey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aengus Keegan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Kevis Caffey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aengus Keegan went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Aengus Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Torrey McSteven notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carnmalin Utd's Kevis Caffey. Kevis Caffey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes, Tullykinroe's Brigid McMichel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kevis Caffey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tullykinroe reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Scot Caffrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carnmalin Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Scot Caffrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fionntán McBjarton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, Tullykinroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breasal Savic to maneuver through the defense. Herich McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fionntán McBjarton having to interfere. Ron McIan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Scot Caffrey made the kick off in the second half. Scot Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Fionntán McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Scot Caffrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torrey McSteven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 63 minutes, Beiti McNamee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnmalin Utd and the Tullykinroe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beiti McNamee hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. George McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scot Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fionntán McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonard McJames hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Herich McTommy came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Carnmalin Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herich McTommy couldn't finish the play. Herich McTommy struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fionntán McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carnmalin Utd. After 86 minutes of play Carnmalin Utd's Beiti McNamee was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Beiti McNamee hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ron McIan during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Tullykinroe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron McIan to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torrey McSteven in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevis Caffey saved Carnmalin Utd from getting behind. Herich McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fionntán McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tullykinroe had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
