Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Scot Caffrey made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Gearoid McGlenn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peadar McWill hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Carnmalin Utd got a freekick which was hit by George McIan. In the 8th minute, Gearoid McGlenn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevis Caffey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Lissivigeen's goal looked a bit too open when George McIan came free, but Cleary Grant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herich McTommy took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleary Grant. Cleary Grant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Gearoid McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lissivigeen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gearoid McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peadar McWill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peadar McWill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kevis Caffey made a huge save. A collision led to Carnmalin Utd getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. George McIan hit a great ball. The supporters of Carnmalin Utd booed when Lissivigeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breccan Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleary Grant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scot Caffrey went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cleary Grant came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Carnmalin Utd's Herich McTommy. But to his dismay, Herich McTommy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 34 minutes, Gearoid McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lissivigeen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gearoid McGlenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cleary Grant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beiti McNamee in the 36th minute of the match. Tipraite McBrand struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Kevis Caffey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lissivigeen. After 38 minutes, Peadar McWill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lissivigeen and the Carnmalin Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peadar McWill hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Lissivigeen got a freekick which was hit by Peadar McWill. When Gearoid McGlenn came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lissivigeen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gearoid McGlenn couldn't finish the play. If Tipraite McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gearoid McGlenn to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Lissivigeen's Cleary Grant got control of the ball when Herich McTommy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carnmalin Utd's Kevis Caffey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearoid McGlenn in the 54th minute of play. Brannagh Beckett charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brannagh Beckett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Tipraite McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lissivigeen booed when Carnmalin Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herich McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Peadar McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevis Caffey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gearoid McGlenn's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Lissivigeen's Cleary Grant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beiti McNamee in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Brannagh Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beiti McNamee got free with Cleary Grant in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Carnmalin Utd's Scot Caffrey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleary Grant. Cleary Grant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. If Gearoid McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Carnmalin Utd getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bearach Rogers hit a great ball. Scot Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tipraite McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gearoid McGlenn might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevis Caffey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gearoid McGlenn ran back to his position shaking his head. Theodore Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Kevis Caffey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chants of Carnmalin Utd echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Lissivigeen had held the ball for most of the match.
