Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Darick John kicked off to start the match. Darick John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Beckett having to interfere. Binean Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bivadi Robinson in the 6th minute of play. Brendon Cassin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Tipraite Kelly hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendon Cassin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Ballyroe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Brendon Cassin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Conor Beckett skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Darick John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Beckett having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ballyroe defense, Bivadi Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Binean Delaney. The Ballyroe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Binean Delaney should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyroe's zone, Bivadi Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binean Delaney came out of the goal and Bivadi Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Bren Quinnless got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bivadi Robinson in the 28th minute of play forced Ballyroe's goalkeeper Binean Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Bren Quinnless who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballyroe's Binean Delaney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes Ballyroe got a freekick which was hit by Pauric Matthews. Bren Quinnless received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Binean Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ballyroe defense, Bivadi Robinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Binean Delaney. The Ballyroe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Binean Delaney should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Darick John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conor Beckett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bren Quinnless in the 43rd minute of play forced Ballyroe's goalkeeper Binean Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darick John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conor Beckett having to interfere. With a little luck, Oldchapel's Conor Beckett got control of the ball when Brendon Cassin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ballyroe's goalkeeper Binean Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ballyroe getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cashel McLiam hit a great ball. Ballyroe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Bivadi Robinson scored to the left of an out of position Binean Delaney, making the score, 0-3. Conor Beckett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darick John in the 66th minute of play. Darick John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Conor Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darick John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Oldchapel got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Murphy. If Darick John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendon Cassin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bren Quinnless struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Binean Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oldchapel. Brendon Cassin scored 1-3 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conor Beckett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Brendon Cassin came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Ballyroe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendon Cassin couldn't finish the play. Oldchapel were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Ballyroe's much stronger midfield.
