Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raymun Taylor started the match with the kick off. Bradigan Cassin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raymun Taylor's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dublin Athlétic™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Críostóir McJohnny was slow to take the kick. During this time Gortnasate's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gortnasate's Críostóir McJohnny to fire away a dangerous shot which Bradigan Cassin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 12th minute Raymun Taylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradigan Cassin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bradigan Cassin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beamard Cronin went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gerard Hughes charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerard Hughes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Dublin Athlétic™'s zone, Brendon McLiam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bradigan Cassin came out of the goal and Brendon McLiam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gortnasate's Raymun Taylor in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dublin Athlétic™'s goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Brendon McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gortnasate's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon McLiam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bradigan Cassin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raymun Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradigan Cassin having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Gortnasate's Raymun Taylor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bradigan Cassin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Brendon McLiam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bradigan Cassin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Raymun Taylor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradigan Cassin. Dublin Athlétic™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raymun Taylor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 47 minutes, Fiachra Delaney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dublin Athlétic™ and the Gortnasate players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fiachra Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blayne McBjarton was the one to do the kick off. If Brendon McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradigan Cassin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon McLiam in the 63rd minute of the match. Bradigan Cassin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Silke in the 64th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Brendon McLiam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dublin Athlétic™'s Bradigan Cassin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raymun Taylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Bradigan Cassin made a huge save. Raymun Taylor came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bradigan Cassin could save by the left post. In the 74th minute, Gerard Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymun Taylor struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Bradigan Cassin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gortnasate. In the 78th minute, Harrington McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, one of Dublin Athlétic™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dublin Athlétic™. Raymun Taylor shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Brendon McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Bradigan Cassin managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Gortnasate's Raymun Taylor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute of the match, Brendon McLiam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bradigan Cassin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Dublin Athlétic™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gortnasate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
