Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trien McMichel kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Bealtaine McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Ballybrittas's goal looked a bit too open when Trien McMichel came free, but Bearnad McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Britain Grant charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Britain Grant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Britain Grant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymun Taylor, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26th minute, Peadair Dalton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Callan's goalkeeper Boethis McGlenn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barcvni Costello kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Trien McMichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bearnad McSteven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballybrittas's Bray Caffey got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Bray Caffey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballybrittas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callan the free kick. After 42 played minutes Ballybrittas got a freekick which was hit by Bray Caffey. Trien McMichel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bearnad McSteven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Bealtaine McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barcvni Costello made a kick off. Tipraite Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Giles Sheridan charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giles Sheridan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Callan getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Giles Sheridan hit a great ball. Bearnad McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trien McMichel in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Ballybrittas's goalkeeper Bearnad McSteven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trien McMichel. In the 77th match minute, Ballybrittas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray Caffey to maneuver through the defense. Trien McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Callan defense, Barcvni Costello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boethis McGlenn. The Callan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boethis McGlenn should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Callan's Trien McMichel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bearnad McSteven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 minutes Ballybrittas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raymun Taylor who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Callan booed when Ballybrittas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barcvni Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ballybrittas's zone, Raymun Taylor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bearnad McSteven came out of the goal and Raymun Taylor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boethis McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barcvni Costello in the 98th minute of play. Ballybrittas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
