Cohunon's Basil McOliver quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Riddoc McSteve, made in the 4th minute of the game. Patraic Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Britt Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 10 minutes, Britt Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barroosky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Britt Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Dawayne Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacey Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dawayne Robinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riddoc McSteve made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cohunon's Basil McOliver. 33 minutes into the match, Dawayne Robinson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cacey Callaghan, 1-1. In the 38th minute Dawayne Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacey Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bressail McJohnny fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barroosky's protests and gave Bressail McJohnny a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Bressail McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riddoc McSteve made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cohunon's Harvey McPhilip. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Britt Beckett to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Britt Beckett notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cohunon's Patraic Palmer. Patraic Palmer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Dawayne Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacey Callaghan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cohunon's Patraic Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Britt Beckett in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Cohunon getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Blake McBjarton hit a great ball. After 68 minutes of play, Barroosky's Britt Beckett made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patraic Palmer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Cohunon's zone, Britt Beckett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patraic Palmer came out of the goal and Britt Beckett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Britt Beckett did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Patraic Palmer 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawayne Robinson in the 83rd minute of play forced Barroosky's goalkeeper Cacey Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Britt Beckett who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Patraic Palmer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Cohunon booed when Barroosky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thurl McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Barroosky's goal looked a bit too open when Ryland McAaron came free, but Cacey Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patraic Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Britt Beckett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Barroosky walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
