Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Glenieraragh's Gill Dimson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ros Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gill Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Geoffrey Ferguson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ros Horgan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gill Dimson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fintan McDecland's late challenge caught a Glenieraragh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fintan McDecland helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gill Dimson in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ros Horgan saved Bellanamore from getting behind. Gill Dimson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Paudraig Lavine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glenieraragh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bellanamore the free kick. After a rather tough play, Glenieraragh's Paudraig Lavine got a free kick in the 14th minute. Bellanamore's Finian McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Baird Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenieraragh's supporters rose to their feet, but Baird Gillmour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ros Horgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bellanamore's zone, Gill Dimson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ros Horgan came out of the goal and Gill Dimson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan McJon in the 27th minute of play forced Glenieraragh's goalkeeper Britain Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kealan McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brady Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Britain Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Gill Dimson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Bellanamore booed when Glenieraragh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Rollin Willson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Britain Barrett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ros Horgan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baird Gillmour in the 46th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Kealan McJon put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Britain Barrett. After the first half Bellanamore were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kealan McJon made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Baird Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glenieraragh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baird Gillmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kealan McJon in the 57th minute of play forced Glenieraragh's goalkeeper Britain Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes, Gilbert McBrandon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glenieraragh and the Bellanamore players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Glenieraragh getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Gilbert McBrandon hit a great ball. Gilbert McBrandon hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Baird Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ros Horgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Glenieraragh's Gill Dimson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kealan McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Britain Barrett came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Bellanamore's Brady Murphy. But to his dismay, Brady Murphy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Kealan McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play Glenieraragh's Gill Dimson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bellanamore booed when Glenieraragh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gill Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Glenieraragh getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Baird Gillmour hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bellanamore had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
