Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bourns Horgan made the kick off which started today's match. Braoin Lester scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blathmacc McLaughlin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 7 played minutes East Coast Fc got a freekick which was hit by Donald Branson. In the 8th minute, Barney McCready left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Firmount fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for East Coast Fc! The referee gave Firmount a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Torran McCollion, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of East Coast Fc's Patrick Coyle. 1-2. Patrick Coyle came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Firmount's Rordan McJon. But to his dismay, Rordan McJon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice moves Lochlainn McVictor could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Blathmacc McLaughlin however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Barney McCready sped through East Coast Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrick Coyle. After a rather tough play, East Coast Fc's Eoin Savic got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rourke McWilliam lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Firmount fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for East Coast Fc. Rowley Quinnless stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Blathmacc McLaughlin. 2-4. 41 minutes into the match, Eoin Savic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blathmacc McLaughlin. Firmount's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eoin Savic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Patrick Coyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rordan McJon in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of East Coast Fc booed when Firmount was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bowie Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Firmount were leading 3-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rordan McJon to make the kick off. Patrick Coyle was a little too slow when Trevor McAlphie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 3-5. Branagain Gough's late challenge caught a Firmount's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Branagain Gough helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, one of East Coast Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Coast Fc. Patrick Coyle had in the 65thth minute some difficulties stopping Torran McCollion's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a long run with the ball, Torran McCollion did a trick in the 65th minute in front of East Coast Fc's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-6. An impressive performance by Firmount's Torran McCollion! After 67 played minutes Firmount got a freekick which was hit by Barney McCready. After 69 minutes of play, East Coast Fc's Lochlainn McVictor made it 4-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blathmacc McLaughlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blathmacc McLaughlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eoin Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rordan McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blathmacc McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eoin Savic in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Bourns Horgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The East Coast Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-6. Firmount's Blathmacc McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lochlainn McVictor in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Firmount eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
