Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laochra's Riddoc Martyn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Laochra's goal looked a bit too open when Bourns Horgan came free, but Devlin Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavin McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laochra's Devlin Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lochlainn McVictor in the 16th minute of play. Devlin Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lochlainn McVictor in the 21st minute of play. Devlin Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lochlainn McVictor in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Biddy MaCollin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Coyle. Biddy MaCollin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bourns Horgan in the 29th minute of play forced Laochra's goalkeeper Devlin Duggan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, East Coast Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Biddy MaCollin came free, but Patrick Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riddoc Martyn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Patrick Coyle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 44 in the game by Riddoc Martyn from a close distance when the talented Patrick Coyle managed to make a qualified save. East Coast Fc's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lochlainn McVictor during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bourns Horgan made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Laochra got a freekick which was hit by Gavin McOliver. Devlin Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowley Quinnless, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Patrick Coyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riddoc Martyn's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Gavin McOliver struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Patrick Coyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laochra. Riddoc Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Coyle having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match, Lochlainn McVictor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Devlin Duggan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riddoc Martyn in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrick Coyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Ennis Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, East Coast Fc's Timmons Gillmour shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Devlin Duggan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in East Coast Fc reached it. Baolach McAaron's late challenge caught a Laochra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baolach McAaron helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, East Coast Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baolach McAaron to maneuver through the defense. Baolach McAaron took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Devlin Duggan. Devlin Duggan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ennis Dillon kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Laochra's Devlin Duggan got control of the ball when Lochlainn McVictor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, East Coast Fc's Baolach McAaron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3.
