Blathmacc McLaughlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riddoc Martyn in the 3rd minute of play. Barhart Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Blathmacc McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devlin Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rordan McJon in the 11th minute of the match. Laochra's Devlin Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rordan McJon in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Laochra getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gavin McOliver hit a great ball. Devlin Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torran McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Devlin Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rordan McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torran McCollion scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Devlin Duggan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Devlin Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torran McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Laochra's goal looked a bit too open when Torran McCollion came free, but Devlin Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Torran McCollion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Devlin Duggan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Riddoc Martyn struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Blathmacc McLaughlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laochra.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Riddoc Martyn to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Branson Moran during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Branson Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Riddoc Martyn took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blathmacc McLaughlin. Blathmacc McLaughlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Barney McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devlin Duggan having to interfere. Devlin Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torran McCollion in the 64th minute of the match. With his leg Devlin Duggan managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Firmount's Barney McCready fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Barhart Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Barney McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Devlin Duggan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Breenan Doherty. Devlin Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torran McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Bowie Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Riddoc Martyn in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Blathmacc McLaughlin saved Firmount from getting behind. 79 minutes into the game, Rordan McJon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Devlin Duggan. Rordan McJon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Devlin Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torran McCollion in the 90th minute of the match. With a little luck, Laochra's Devlin Duggan got control of the ball when Barney McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Laochra fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Firmount were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
