East Coast Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Baolach McAaron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beglan McCready breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes, Briskil Utd's Birr Glen Crowe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Coyle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Briskil Utd reached it. Eoin Savic charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eoin Savic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eoin Savic hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bourns Horgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Beglan McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Briskil Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bree McPeter to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in East Coast Fc's zone, Bree McPeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Coyle came out of the goal and Bree McPeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Bree McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Briskil Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bree McPeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bourns Horgan made the kick off in the second half. Lochlainn McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieran Doherty hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, East Coast Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eoin Savic to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Baolach McAaron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Coast Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Briskil Utd the free kick. Baolach McAaron hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes, Donlevy Caffey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Briskil Utd and the East Coast Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Briskil Utd's Beglan McCready played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bourns Horgan in the 66th minute of play. After 77 played minutes East Coast Fc got a freekick which was hit by Eoin Savic. A collision led to Briskil Utd getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Perry Molloy hit a great ball. When Bourns Horgan came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the East Coast Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bourns Horgan couldn't finish the play. Donlevy Caffey got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Donlevy Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Baolach McAaron was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes East Coast Fc got a freekick which was hit by Baolach McAaron.
