Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Hutton started the match with the kick off. Bray McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Hutton in the 5th minute of play. Duff Callaghan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Bodibeua Glen Crowe made a huge save. Bow McJames took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bray McGlenn. Bray McGlenn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Bray McGlenn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Hutton's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Irving McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bodibeua Glen Crowe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bray McGlenn came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rockmills's Bow McJames. But to his dismay, Bow McJames quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Suibhne Rutherford lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cloonymorris! Pearse McPhil placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 24th minute of the match Dennis McCready sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bray McGlenn skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute, Bannon Silke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Edward Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockmills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Gealan McWill made a precise shot to the right of Bray McGlenn. Cloonymorris's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 40 minutes, Gealan McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockmills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gealan McWill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 played minutes Cloonymorris got a freekick which was hit by Irving McFrank. A hard shot by Bannon Silke from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Bodibeua Glen Crowe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duff Callaghan to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Rockmills booed when Cloonymorris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irving McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bray McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coran McVictor in the 54th minute of the match. Gealan McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bray McGlenn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Irving McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Cloonymorris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irving McFrank couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Edward Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bray McGlenn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Edward Hutton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Bray McGlenn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bannon Silke fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cloonymorris's protests and gave Bannon Silke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cloonymorris getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bannon Silke hit a great ball. In the 82nd match minute, Cloonymorris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bannon Silke to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd match minute, Rockmills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pearse McPhil to maneuver through the defense. Bray McGlenn made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gealan McWill sent off a good shot on target.
