In the 3rd minute, Blaithmeic McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Keegan Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradner Mullan charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradner Mullan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LandCracker FC booed when Drimmeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradner Mullan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baydan McNamee struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Terrence Todd didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drimmeen. In the 13th minute Keegan Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Terrence Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, LandCracker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conor Dillon to maneuver through the defense. Terrence Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baydan McNamee in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes in the game, Blaithmeic Hutton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baiste Murphy having to interfere. The supporters of LandCracker FC booed when Drimmeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breffni Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drimmeen's Baiste Murphy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Drimmeen from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blaithmeic Hutton was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brennon John in the 51st minute of play forced Drimmeen's goalkeeper Baiste Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LandCracker FC's Terrence Todd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baydan McNamee in the 56th minute of play. LandCracker FC's Terrence Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save LandCracker FC from getting a goal against them. Baiste Murphy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaithmeic Hutton in the 69th minute of play. Baiste Murphy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brennon John went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baiste Murphy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baydan McNamee was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Drimmeen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Terrence Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baydan McNamee, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Drimmeen booed when LandCracker FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teris Branson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Breffni Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LandCracker FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
