Swanlinbar's Brigid Gallagher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Swanlinbar from getting a goal against them. Dermot McBrandon kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Brigid Gallagher acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brennon John. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilian Lester got free with Terrence Todd in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Brecc McFrank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Swanlinbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bean Doyle to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Blaithmeic Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Gallagher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LandCracker FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
