Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gearoid Dempsey got the match started through his kick off. Basil Gillmour's late challenge caught a Oldleighlin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basil Gillmour helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Aghnagap's Basil Gillmour got a free kick in the 5th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Rowley Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oldleighlin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowley Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Gearoid Dempsey made a precise shot to the right of Ailín McLaughlin. Oldleighlin AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kain Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ailín McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gearoid Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aghnagap's Kain Kirby in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oldleighlin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gearoid Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ailín McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Aghnagap's goal looked a bit too open when Blathma Cassin came free, but Barclay Holt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Oldleighlin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Binnech Walker. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gearoid Dempsey in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ailín McLaughlin saved Oldleighlin AFC from getting behind. Gearoid Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ailín McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Oldleighlin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binnech Walker to maneuver through the defense. Aghnagap's Barclay Holt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Aghnagap from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blathma Cassin to make the kick off. Aghnagap's Barclay Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathma Cassin in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Aghnagap's zone, Rowley Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barclay Holt came out of the goal and Rowley Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aghnagap's Barclay Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathma Cassin in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathma Cassin in the 61st minute of play forced Aghnagap's goalkeeper Barclay Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kain Kirby charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kain Kirby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kain Kirby hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Kain Kirby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oldleighlin AFC's Ailín McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearoid Dempsey in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rowley Kirby in the 71st minute of play forced Aghnagap's goalkeeper Barclay Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Oldleighlin AFC's Blathma Cassin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barclay Holt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aghnagap's Gearoid Dempsey got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kain Kirby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailín McLaughlin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oldleighlin AFC's Beckett Hunt got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ailín McLaughlin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gearoid Dempsey's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Barclay Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blathma Cassin in the 91st minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Rowley Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
