After 5 played minutes Rahtnnane got a freekick which was hit by Trevor McJon. Derry Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon McGlynn having to interfere. Bean Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Bean Kelly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moylough's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rahtnnane the free kick. After a rather tough play, Moylough's Bean Kelly got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Brenda Horgan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Braydon McSteve showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Derry Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannon McGlynn having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Rahtnnane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iarla Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Derry Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brannon McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannon McGlynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derry Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Blaine Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Brannon McGlynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derry Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Blayne Ryan made the kick off in the second half. Leonard Dimson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Brannon McGlynn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Torin Beckett came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Moylough fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torin Beckett couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blayne Ryan in the 67th minute of play forced Moylough's goalkeeper Braydon McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Dimson in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brannon McGlynn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Brannon McGlynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Blaine Hughes scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Braydon McSteve, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iarla Hutton in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braydon McSteve prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Rahtnnane's Brannon McGlynn got control of the ball when Leonard Dimson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blayne Ryan in the 90th minute of play forced Moylough's goalkeeper Braydon McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braydon McSteve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iarla Hutton in the 93rd minute of the match. When Blayne Ryan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Rahtnnane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blayne Ryan couldn't finish the play. Moylough played a much better game than Rahtnnane and deserved their victory. The Rahtnnane players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
