Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shea Sheridan started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Millford's Brannan Taylor got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute Blathma Quinnless shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lee Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blathma Quinnless in the 9th minute of play forced Millford's goalkeeper Lee Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lee Hutton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blathma Quinnless showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Millford's Lee Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Millford from getting a goal against them. Bairre Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Patrick McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Sandyford got a freekick which was hit by Cormac Dalton. After 20 minutes of play, Millford's Shea Sheridan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick McBrand was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Millford getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Brannan Taylor hit a great ball. Cormac Dalton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lee Hutton. Millford's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Riddoc McCready dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lee Hutton, 2-1. The Millford fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Millford's Shea Sheridan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 35 minutes, Boyd Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyd Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riddoc McCready recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Millford's Lee Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathma Quinnless in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Millford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branigan McSteve to maneuver through the defense. Millford's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Riddoc McCready scored to the left of an out of position Lee Hutton, making the score, 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blathma Quinnless made a kick off. Lee Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blathma Quinnless in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Millford's Bairre Ryan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick McBrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Bairre Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick McBrand having to interfere. Shea Sheridan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lee Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blathma Quinnless, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Hutton came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sandyford's Riddoc McCready. But to his dismay, Riddoc McCready quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradon Tierney in the 68th minute of play forced Millford's goalkeeper Lee Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millford's Lee Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blathma Quinnless in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Millford got a freekick which was hit by Brannan Taylor. Lee Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradon Tierney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Shea Sheridan notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Sandyford's Patrick McBrand. Patrick McBrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brenan Rutherford during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brenan Rutherford kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Lee Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riddoc McCready in the 88th minute of the match. Lee Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradon Tierney, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Blathma Quinnless took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lee Hutton. Lee Hutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4.
