Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorcan McPaul started the match with the kick off. Kevion Mulvihill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th match minute, TheIdealAttack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beale Costello to maneuver through the defense. If Dewayne John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevion Mulvihill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paud Todd having to interfere. Dewayne John received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paud Todd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevion Mulvihill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Paud Todd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevion Mulvihill to strike the kick off in the second half. If Kevion Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Monasterevin got a freekick which was hit by Dewayne John. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorcan McPaul in the 56th minute of play forced Monasterevin's goalkeeper Art McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Kevion Mulvihill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monasterevin's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevion Mulvihill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paud Todd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boyd Scully during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Boyd Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 65 in the game by Kevion Mulvihill from a close distance when the talented Paud Todd managed to make a qualified save. TheIdealAttack's players were relieved. Art McSteven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Cassin in the 67th minute of the match. TheIdealAttack's Paud Todd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save TheIdealAttack from getting a goal against them. Paud Todd made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Dewayne John sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Kevion Mulvihill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paud Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Boyd Scully made a precise shot to the right of Paud Todd. TheIdealAttack's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 86 played minutes Monasterevin got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Scully. Kevion Mulvihill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paud Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevion Mulvihill, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The TheIdealAttack fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monasterevin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
